What will my discs look like?

We only use Grade 'A' Cd and Dvd, we print them in full colour and they are titled with distro, architecture and any other pertinent information. You can see an example of the discs we supply below:

How Do You Produce Discs?

We have invested in quality duplication equipment including ACARD duplication controllers and Pioneer writers. This allows us to produce large runs of discs quickly when a new distro is released. We only use high quality media - typically with CMC, TY or RITEK dyes. All ISO files are md5 and/or sha1sum checked before duplication, after which discs are face printed and sleeved or cased. As we produce our own stock you can order safe in the knowledge that the disc you want will be available.

What is architecture? Which Discs do I need?

Most modern pc's are x86 32bit architecture - if the computer that you want to install linux on runs windows xp/vista then 32bit / standard pc is probably what you need. If you are unsure, give us a call or pop us an email.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes of course, simply checkout as if you were going to pay by card, but select 'Pay By Post'. you will then be provided with details of where to send payment.

How much is delivery?

This depends upon your location, the weight of your order and which delivery method you select. Roughly speaking rates will be slightly more than the cost amount to ship (to cover for materials). We do not make money from delivery!

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the UK, europe and the US.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept payment via paypal and credit card via nochex and paypal. You can view the total in your local currency and our site will give you a rough conversion (see left menu). For cheque payment we only accept Sterling due to exhorbitant banking costs!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, nochex, paypal and we also accept UK cheques and postal orders. Bank transfer can be arranged (contact us for details).

Is this website secure?

In a word - yes! We use industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption for private account areas of our site. Our SSL certificate is provided by GeoTrust.

What happens if my CD's don't work?

If your Cd's are damaged in transit we will replace them at no cost, if they are corrupted we will also replace them at no cost (note: this is unlikley as all ISO files are checked against MD5SUMs or SHA1SUM to makesure that they are as distributed by the software publisher).

Can you provide other flavours of Linux?

Yes! We try to keep as up to date as possible and are adding new products all of the time, however, occassionally clients have requested distributions not listed and in most cases we are happy to oblige - just pop us an email .

Linux is free - so why should I buy discs from you?

This is entirely up to you! You are free to download the ISO files and burn them to disc yourself.

Most of our clients order discs from us as they don't have the time to do it themselves, or they are not on a fast enough internet connection, or they simply do not know how to create the discs correctly.

We only use A grade media, all discs are printed and packaged and we deliver promptly.

Do you provide support with these products?

We do not provide any software support. We might be able to point you in the right direction - there is a great abundance of friendly community based support available for most distributions.

Of course if there is a problem with the discs you purchased we will help with that!
